Product description

The PRIME LC 240 ARGB is a closed-loop liquid CPU cooling system intended for desktop PC builds where both cooling performance and coordinated ARGB lighting are required. Its CPU block uses a copper contact plate with precision micro-channels to improve heat transfer from the processor into the cooling loop. ASUS also specifies a three-phase, six-slot pump motor, a ceramic bearing system, and a PPS pump housing.

The radiator measures 277 × 120 × 27 mm and is connected to the CPU block with 400 mm sleeved rubber tubing, providing flexibility when positioning the radiator inside the chassis. The cooler comes with two pre-installed 120 mm PRIME LC 24025 integrated fans.

The water block features customizable infinity-mirror lenses, while the fans and block support ARGB lighting through ASUS Aura Sync. ASUS has also integrated the fan and lighting connections to simplify cable management.

Cooling system

CPU contact plate:
The cooler uses a high-purity copper plate with micro-channel construction. The enlarged contact area is designed to improve heat transfer between the CPU and the cooling system.

Pump:
ASUS specifies a three-phase, six-slot motor together with a ceramic bearing system and PPS pump housing. The design is intended to provide stable coolant circulation while maintaining the compact water-block format.

Radiator:
The radiator measures 277 × 120 × 27 mm, with 400 mm of sleeved rubber tubing connecting it to the water block.

Fans:
Two PRIME LC 24025 Integrated Fans are supplied and pre-installed. They operate from 600 to 2200 RPM ±10%, with up to 75.7 CFM airflow and 3.2 mmH₂O static pressure. ASUS specifies a maximum acoustic level of 34 dB(A).

ARGB and design

The water block incorporates a customizable infinity-mirror lens, creating a layered illuminated effect when the ARGB lighting is active. The included fans are also ARGB-equipped and come pre-installed on the radiator.

The cooler supports ASUS Aura Sync, allowing its lighting to be synchronized with compatible ASUS components and other Aura Sync-compatible hardware. ASUS also uses an integrated fan/ARGB connection arrangement to reduce cable clutter during installation.
